Day 1: Departure from Zurich
You are leaving Zurich in the afternoon.
Day 2: Arrival in Hanoi
You arrive in Hanoi in the morning. Your guide will be waiting for you at the airport and take you to your hotel. In the afternoon you can explore Hanoi's Old Quarter on your own or relax from the flight.

Day 3: Hanoi Day Tour (Breakfast, Lunch)
The tour starts at your hotel at around 8 a.m. First, your guide will take you to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Close to the mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, one of Hanoi's landmarks, and the Presidential Palace. In the afternoon you visit the large ethnological museum in Hanoi, the temple of literature and the old town with the Hoan Kiem lake.

Day 4: Hanoi - Halong Bay (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Start in Hanoi at around 8: 00 and arriving around noon in Halong Bay (travel time approx. 4 hours). Check in on the boat, where you spend the next day.
The boat will take you to the most beautiful places in Halong Bay. You see the bizarre limestone landscape, beaches and caves. The boat offers additional activities such as kayaking, excursions on a sampan boat and the like. You will be served by the English-speaking crew.

Tag 5: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Saigon (Brunch)
You will be back at the port before noon, where your personal driver will be waiting for you. The drive back to Hanoi takes about 4 hours. You arrive in Hanoi in the afternoon and your flight to Hue in the evening. A driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel in the city.

Day 6: Saigon City Tour, Saigon Food Tour (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Your guide will show you the main attractions in central Saigon. In the morning you visit the Ben Thanh Market and take a walk through the city center to the famous shopping street "Dong Khoi". There the guide will show you the Notre Dame Cathedral, the colonial post office and the Reunification Palace. After lunch you will visit the War Museum and see how the Vietnamese typically shop at a local wet market.
In the evening you go on a Saigon Food Tour: young Vietnamese take you to local restaurants. You sit in the back seat of the mopeds and experience Saigon through the eyes of the locals!

Day 7: Day tour Mekong Delta, departure (breakfast, lunch)
At 8 a.m. your guide will pick you up in Saigon and take you to Ben Tre (travel time approx. 2.5 hours). Explore the Mekong Delta by motorboat, rowboat and bike. You will eat at a local riverside restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit some local workshops, where e.g. coconut sweets are made, as well as a brick factory with traditional kilns. The boat will take you back to Ben Tre where your driver will wait for you and take you back to Saigon. The guide will take you directly to the airport for your return flight to Switzerland in the evening.
